Lobo Leasing, a leading global helicopter leasing company, today announced the completion of a helicopter leasing transaction with Brazilian helicopter services company, Costa do Sol Táxi Aéreo.

The companies have signed an operating lease for one offshore configured Sikorsky S-76C+ helicopter. This follows a previous lease agreement between Lobo and Costa do Sol completed earlier this year for a similar offshore S-76C+. The addition of these two helicopters is helping Costa do Sol meet growing demand for their services in Brazil. The two S-76C+’s will support offshore oil and gas operations in Rio de Janeiro State.

Lobo’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mark Kelly, said, “We are very pleased to support Costa do Sol’s growth plans with the lease of a second S76C+. Lobo works to be our customers’ first choice for helicopter leasing and Costa do Sol’s continued business is a highly valued endorsement. The deployment of both helicopters into offshore oil and gas service in Brazil is an important development and a great credit to the very experienced team at Costa do Sol Táxi Aéreo”.

“We are delighted to have Lobo Leasing as a partner,” said Costa do Sol shareholders Yuri Golosov and Alessandro Neri. “Our focus is on bringing our clients the highest levels of safety and cost effective solutions for their offshore and onshore crew change needs. Working with Lobo’s highly qualified and responsive team to expand our fleet has greatly enhanced our ability to deliver for our customers”.
